PAM Health Rehab Hospital Winter Garden

This structural steel single-story hospital features rehab gyms, 42 patient rooms across (4) wings, treatment rooms, kitchen/dining, and pharmacy. Site work included a retaining wall and a therapy garden. VE efforts led to a cost-effective garden redesign to be used in future projects.

Snack Food Production Warehouse

Rycon was the design-builder on a single-level warehouse for the production and manufacturing of a multi-national snack food company. The tilt-up structure houses offices and manufacturing/distribution areas. Work included sprinkler system/fire protection, utilities, and site prep.

Tampa, FL

HCAA GA Security Upgrades VDF, TPF & PCM

Security upgrades were made at Tampa Executive (VDF), Peter O. Knight (TPF) and Plant City (PCM) including access control systems, CCTV replacements, fencing, gates, and infrastructure improvements. Work at all three airports was done mostly simultaneously for efficient execution.

Collier County Fire & EMS Station 74

This new single-story first responder station was built with 8” and 12” CMU and light steel trusses and includes 5 apparatus bays, 12 bunks, restrooms, kitchen, dining, fitness, laundry, offices, and gear/decon areas. Site work included dual access drives and a large dry retention area.

A Circle K gas station with a large canopy over the fuel pumps and an attached convenience store.

Circle K Venice

This new store was built with concrete caissons, slab, aluminum storefront, EIFS, brick veneer, masonry walls, insulated panels, prefab wood trusses, TPO roof, and clay tiles. The scope included a walk-in cooler, MEP systems, and site work. Fuel work was coordinated with the Owner.

IBEW Local Union 22 Dormitory & RV Parking

This dorm houses union members during hurricane repairs and also serves as a lineman training facility. It holds 32 beds, laundry, locker rooms, showers, and kitchen. Built with concrete footers, CMU walls, metal roof, and stucco, site work included utilities, paving, and (9) RV pads.

Lee County Hurricane Ian Repairs

Rycon received a lump sum contract for repairs at multiple facilities including libraries, parks, and public buildings. Work included roofing repairs, siding, insulation, windows, doors, concrete, fencing, HVAC, MEP, and marine structures. Work was partially funded by FEMA.

Marco Island Mackle Park Airnasium

This project involved the replacement of the airnasium, an open-air covered basketball shelter. Work included demo of the existing structure and electrical devices. The building was constructed with new structural elements, electrical systems, outlets, lighting fixtures, and site restoration.
