Local & National Contractor

Building for The Future

From Rycon’s humble beginnings in 1989, an office of three people has grown to 470 office and field employees. The company has evolved from a small interior contractor, started by Todd Dominick and Bill Taylor, to a national firm that completes over $500 million annually across six offices and multiple market sectors.

We are 100% employee-owned, and it is evident in our work. Not only do we build quality, lasting buildings, but we also build genuine relationships with our customers-turned-partners, attributing to an 86% repeat client rate. From boutique ice cream shops to $200 million mixed-use developments, we are here to provide solutions and support you every step of the way, and have fun doing it.

“I am extremely proud of the work ethic and dedication put forth on this project. Rycon has overcome a lot of obstacles… This is a big plus for future projects, and I will make sure my recommendation is heard.”

Ruben Vargas, Christian Brothers Automotive

“The projects have been well managed, with all issues addressed and resolved quickly, and always with the client in mind. We are very pleased with the overall quality of construction to date, which is a direct result of the great leadership displayed by the project team”

Justin Lippa II, Macerich

“It was a pleasure to have Rycon as a partner…They were a strong collaborator and worked towards quick and cost effective solutions in order to keep the project on schedule and within budget. They were so flexible and supportive of a client that occupied the space during their phased construction.”

Mary Kay Barrett, Stantec

“I wanted to commend Rycon and its workers for the skill and professionalism I saw demonstrated throughout this project…one thing that was unique about Rycon was how while doing their work, they also took into consideration the needs of the library staff as we tried to continue doing our work. There were times when I know they went more than the extra mile to assist us”

Denise A. Hegemann, St. Vincent College

“Each of your team members treated us with respect, class, and dignity, and we are very thankful that they took the time to personally tend to our needs. Those qualities made the process a great experience. The quality of representation and the attention to detail from the beginning of the process to the finished product has been impressive.”

Kathleen Patrick, Carol Fuller & David Benedict, Chartwell

“The Rycon team worked seamlessly with Gensler to bring their vision and design to realization. Even with the challenges of an extremely tight build schedule and permit setbacks Rycon was able to deliver the project on time and within budget.”

Harold Wayne, McGuireWoods

“We appreciate your organizations ability to exceed our expectations. The communication and collaboration throughout your organization was evident, resulting in an overall positive experience from our perspective.”

Tyler Perlmutter, Pinecrest

“The Maker Wing Project was a multi-phase job that required extensive planning and execution and your team worked incredibly well with the project architect, GBBN, and our CMU team to ensure a successful outcome… Your team was very proactive in recognizing potential issues and eliminating them before they materialized.”
