As Rycon’s first Florida office, Fort Lauderdale marked the start of the company’s growing presence across the Sunshine State. Led by Executive Vice Presidents Anthony Rodriguez and Lewis Kent, the team brings experience across a diverse range of projects, from expansive industrial warehouse campuses and healthcare work to retail redevelopments and detailed grocery store renovations. Today, the Fort Lauderdale team continues to play an integral role in Rycon’s growth across Florida.

Countyline Corporate Park

Rycon built Class A single-level tilt-up warehouses with 27’ panels and future knockouts. These LEED Certified spec buildings feature an under-slab gas management system, 36’ ceilings, ESFR sprinklers, fire pump. The scope included full site and utility prep.

ALDI Renovations & Expansions

Projects included renovations to existing ALDI stores, with new tower-style storefront and building expansions, as well as conversions of former Winn-Dixie supermarkets into new ALDI stores. All projects involved demo, MEP and HVAC upgrades, storefront enhancements, and new finishes.

This LEED Silver Certified renovation included a central lobby, flexible meeting spaces, open office areas, a commercial kitchen, dining area, and wellness suite. Scope included high-end finishes, MEP upgrades, and kitchen equipment coordination.

Downrite Engineering Gulf Coast Office

This new two-story facility features concrete and CMU construction, metal roofing, and MEP systems, with offices, meeting spaces, mezzanine, and maintenance bays with six roll-up doors. Site work included a dumpster enclosure, parking, utilities, and landscaping.

HRP Group Warehouse

This tilt-up warehouse includes 30,000 sf of 28°F cold storage with insulated slab and 30’ IMP ceilings and walls, 32,000 sf of 34°F coolers, restrooms, offices, break room, locker room, production lines, ventilation, and dry storage. The scope included extensive site work.

Homestead Commerce Park

This three-building industrial park was delivered on a fast-track schedule and features concrete tilt-up, steel-framed, one-story structures (two large 36-ft clear warehouses and a smaller 18-ft flex-spec facility). The work also incorporated full site infrastructure and support elements.
