These multi-story, 100,000 sf (avg) climate-controlled storage facilities were built using tilt-wall, CIP concrete, or cold-formed metal with slab-on-deck. Most included separate PEMB U-box warehouses. Scope covered site work, MEP systems, finishes, elevators, and lockers.

These projects included new single- and three-story, climate-controlled buildings constructed with concrete foundations, CMU, structural steel, and metal stud framing MEPs, and interiors. Work included a renovation of a historic building into a 1,045-locker storage facility.

10 Federal Storage New Builds & Renovations

These projects involved the new builds or renovations of climate-controlled self-storage warehouses. The new one-story PEMB structures involved site work such as concrete, storm drains, and fire tanks. In Arlington, a 50,000 sf vacant warehouse was remodeled into a new self-storage facility.

Budget Store & Lock Self Storage Shillington

This adaptive reuse converted a vacant supermarket into a storage complex with 813 lockers. The existing structure was renovated and expanded with a 27,600 sf addition. The project included demo, system upgrades, storefront updates, site work, and five separate one-story PEMBs.

Space Shop Self Storage McDonough

This ground-up, climate-controlled storage facility holds 628 lockers in a three-story PEMB with a partial basement. The building features a 4” concrete slab on metal deck, cold-formed framing, EIFS, aluminum storefront, and standing seam roof. Scope included full site work, finishes, and MEP.

SmartStop Self Storage Hendersonville

The project included (2) temperature-controlled buildings and (1) drive-up non-temperature-controlled building constructed on an existing site. Scope encompassed foundations and slabs, PEMB systems, interior build-out, and site work including utilities, retaining wall, and paving.
