Mississippi State University Perry Cafeteria

Project Scope

Historical Renovation
Perry Cafeteria underwent a major renovation, giving the 102-year-old building modern amenities while maintaining its historic Late Gothic Review architectural style. The project transformed Perry into a “campus living room” by adding new food hall concepts, increased seating, and social space.
MEP Upgrades
Work involved modern MEP infrastructure and terrazzo flooring. The scope included new casework for six food venues and custom millwork matching its historic style, fabricated by Rycon’s Craftworks USA.
Addition
Work included a 4,500 sf addition with 70 seats, social staircase, and elevator. There is also a rooftop dining terrace accessible from the upper level. A new loading dock was constructed and covered canopy was installed for game-day cookout smokers.
