This project involved modification of the oncology department to accommodate the addition of a new linear accelerator.
Project Scope
LINAC
The scope included ICRA barricades, demo, excavation for new caissons and foundation, structural steel and concrete to expand the building footprint for the LINAC, roofing, casework, finishes, control room, and oncology patient exit.
HVAC Upgrades
Other work included upgrades to the HVAC system, lighting, sprinkler heads, and plumbing fixtures. A new LINAC-dedicated AHU, chiller, and power conditioner were also installed.
