Rycon was the design-builder responsible for this fast-track office and water treatment lab fit-out within a newly constructed tech-flex structure. Rycon partnered with R3A and H.F. Lenz on the accelerated design.
Project Scope
Water Research Lab & Wastewater Treatment
The first floor contains a working water research lab, demo space, and a special pilot lab equipment testing area. The second floor holds offices, kitchen, collaboration spaces, and an elevated walkway that overlooks the first floor. The project included a private wastewater treatment system for collecting, processing, and cleaning the facility’s wastewater material prior to entering the public sewer system.
2nd Phase Mezzanine
An 8,000 sf mezzanine was added along with a first-floor filtration system routed to the mezzanine. A self-contained, explosion-proof paint booth and exhaust system were installed for gas mitigation. Three miles of piping support over 25 connected tanks.
