Project Scope

Renovations
These renovations included aesthetic improvements such as flooring, casework, and painting, while the MEP system upgrades were completed under a design-build format.
Occupied Facility
Work took place while the facility remained fully operational including surgeries, X-rays, and a full caseload of exams.
Exam Rooms
Rycon added storefronts and making entrances ADA accessible, transforming an outdoor kennel to an indoor kennel, renovating existing pharmacies into new exam rooms, and upgrading animal treatment areas. A unique aspect of the Chambersburg project was keeping the live-in resident pet “Chicken the Cat” safe and secure throughout the work.
