Tampa Int’l Airport Automatic Doors

Project Scope

Door Replacements
This project replaced 62 automatic sliding doors in baggage claim, ticketing, and garage penthouses, along with mechanical operators on eight swing doors. The scope also included exterior door modifications and removal of interior doors.
Phased
Work was strategically phased to ensure no more than one baggage handling door was out of service at any time. This approach minimized operational impact.
Night Work
To further reduce disruption, much of the work was performed during nighttime hours, ensuring the airport remained fully functional during peak travel periods.
