Point Park University Career Readiness Center

Project Scope

Adaptive Reuse
This adaptive reuse project converted a former YMCA facility into a Career Readiness Center. The transformation included repurposing an abandoned pool into functional space.
Pool Infill
Work consisted of infilling the pool, micropiles to support a new monumental stair, and MEP improvements. Finishes included carpeting, terrazzo tile, ceiling baffles, wall covering, and paint.
Mezzanine
The student center features a multi-purpose space and mezzanine. Other areas consist of interview rooms, private offices, storage, and restrooms.
