One Oxford Centre Window Washing System

Project Scope

Phased
Completed in multiple phases, this complex project involved installing rooftop steel to support new window-washing equipment on a 45-story high-rise. Tracking framing was placed at roof levels on floors 40, 44 E, 44 W, and penthouse.
Helicopter Lift
A helicopter was used to lift the washing units to the roof, requiring meticulous logistics and safety planning. All lifts occurred during early Saturday morning hours to minimize disruption in the busy business district.
Night Shift
Work included reinforcing steel below roof levels on occupied floors. To reduce impact, interior work was performed off-hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., with designated “landing zones” for equipment placement during each phase.
