Industrial Manufacturing Plant Addition & Renovation

Project Scope

Phased
Rycon completed the project in three phases, which included two PEMB additions and renovating portions of the existing operational plant. Work involved a new steel-framed connector building, installation of an electrical duct bank for a new 35kV service, and construction of a new loading dock.
PEMB
The two PEMB shells featured structural steel frames with insulated metal panel exteriors. Interior build-outs included high-voltage electrical service, chloride exhaust ductwork, bulk gas tanks and piping, chemical fire suppression systems, diesel generators, a cooling tower, offices, and orbitally welded stainless steel piping for ultra-high purity gas.
Operational Facility
Renovations occurred while the plant remained operational to support new equipment, improve production efficiency, and upgrade MEP systems. Enhancements focused on improving employee comfort.
