Project Scope

Renovation
This project involved interior demo with several weeks of night-shift hazmat abatement, followed by reconstruction of the 6th floor classrooms, labs, and conference areas. Part of the 7th floor structure was removed to create a new two-story atrium.
Pedestrian Bridge
Major scope included demolishing an existing pedestrian bridge down to its structural elements and rebuilding the envelope with curtainwalls, glass, insulated metal panels, and metal roofing. This work required closing a heavily traveled street and implementing strict safety and security measures.
Delivered Solutions
Challenges included completing work during summer recess, coordinating equipment deliveries and trades in a tight urban campus, and managing overlap with an exterior window replacement project by another contractor.
