Rycon delivered a 16,400 sf phased lab renovation at the University of Pittsburgh’s Chevron Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Completed across two floors of an occupied academic high-rise, the project included demolition and reconfiguration to create open biological chemistry labs. The scope involved replacement of existing MEP and fire protection systems, along with installation of updated lab casework and equipment.
The upgraded space supports a range of research environments including wet and dry labs, chemical storage, offices, and specialized lab areas designed for evolving academic programs.
