Rycon completed a 202,000 sq. ft. fit-out to floors 1 (partial), 4 (partial), and 5-9 in the new Bakery Square 3.0 office building in Pittsburgh, PA. The project featured Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Certified custom casework from Rycon’s Casework & Millwork Division. The scope included an open plan work space, collaboration, meeting and huddle rooms, multipurpose center, development labs, a large first floor café with full-service kitchen, and fitness center, as well as two terraces on floor 8. To meet an aggressive 11-month schedule, Rycon utilized highly detailed BIM coordination to ensure that the installation of the MEP equipment could proceed quickly and efficiently. It was a pleasure to work with architect Perkins Eastman and engineers Atlantic Engineering and CJL Engineering.
