Plymouth Township Municipal Campus Renovation

Rycon was awarded the general trades contract for this 50,000 sq. ft. municipal building renovation consisting of a 43,000 sq. ft. one-story renovation of the municipal building/police department and a 7,000 sq. ft. renovation of the public works building. The work was completed in 13 total phases based upon temporary relocations of building occupants. Site utilities included new electrical and water services as well as site prep and restoration for a new geothermal field/geothermal wells. The scope consisted of a roof replacement, asbestos abatement of the existing roof and select interior finishes, demolition of the sloped slab replaced with new steel infill slab on deck for the new city council meeting room, and renovations of all interior spaces.
