Rycon was awarded a lump sum contract to construct ERT’s new corporate offices on the 24th floor of the 1111 Superior skyscraper in downtown Cleveland. The second generation 21,100 sq. ft. project consists of demolition and complete upgrade of the HVAC and electrical systems with modifications of the existing sprinklers, plumbing, and fire alarm. The office will consist of conference rooms, project team rooms, collaboration spaces, and a café as well as new millwork with quartz tops, and the installation of light gauge metal wall panels in the elevator lobby and reception area. Most of the space is open to the deck above with exposed bare concrete columns, creating an industrial-like setting.
