Rycon was responsible for converting a former medical building into a new 4,400 sq. ft. medical marijuana dispensary. The scope of work was primarily inclusive of selective demolition, new partitions, concrete floor slab, ceilings, finishes, lighting, mechanical, plumbing, foundation repair/waterproofing, dumbwaiter installation, and security systems. Additional exterior work included removal of existing windows, accessible concrete ramp, porch railing, porch extension, reworking brick, repainting the façade, and installation of a new generator. The basement level holds the staff break room, curbside fulfillment/receiving area, non-cannabis storage, security equipment and office, IT closet, and manager’s office. The main level holds a secure reception, sales area, restrooms, and vault/fulfillment room.
