The structure holds an emergency department with full med gas capabilities, 10 inpatient beds, imaging services including CT and X-ray, and an on-site laboratory. The nursing stations are uniquely configured to maximize sightlines and accessibility, allowing staff to easily monitor exam rooms and minimize response times. Site development included a 911 ft. long retaining wall with a maximum height of 43 ft. This was constructed using over 280 grouted Geopiers, geogrid, and concrete block. Early involvement with the design team has facilitated an expedited preconstruction process. This included early procurement strategies, GMP development during design development stages, and accelerating the subcontractor award process all while maintaining the project budget.
