The 143,000 sq. ft. interior work consisted of asbestos abatement, MEP and HVAC upgrades, and new ceilings, lights, flooring, and paint. Exterior renovations included the replacement of 55,000 sq. ft. of existing roofing, modifications to the parapet and roof fascia, removal of approximately 1,000 SF of masonry wall to install new windows and the construction of approximately 1,000 SF of new office space under an existing overhang. Work was completed in phases within a 16-month schedule while the building remained occupied. Two emergency generators were installed. Rycon’s Casework & Millwork Division manufactured several custom pieces throughout the space.
