Point Park University Student Center Career Readiness Center

Rycon was awarded an 8,000 sq. ft. renovation of the University’s centralized student center to convert an abandoned basement swimming pool into a new Career Readiness Center. Previously a YMCA, work consisted of infilling the pool, micropiles to support a new monumental stair and various MEP improvements. Finishes included carpeting, terrazzo tile, ceiling baffles, wall covering, and paint. The student center features a multi-purpose space open to the floor above. Other areas consist of interview rooms, private offices, storage, and restrooms.
