Rycon provided both preconstruction and construction management services on this challenging occupied six-month renovation. The work was distributed throughout three separate buildings to keep all testing/equipment functional throughout the entire construction process. Once work was completed on the first building, the occupants and equipment from the second building moved into the first and the process continued for all three facilities. Special coordination with Philips was necessary to ensure a smooth transition. Work in all buildings included modifications of the following areas: Vibration testing lab, temperature humidity chamber, mold compression lab, and machine shop. A mezzanine was added to hold future lab/equipment rooms. Rycon self-performed the concrete slab work.
