This renovation of the fourth floor pathology laboratory consisted of two offices, grossing and expanded lab spaces, and a formalin disposal lab. The scope of work consisted of new finishes, new lab casework and grossing lab stations within the circulation rooms. A new RTU was installed on the sixth floor MEP corridor for direct ventilation for the grossing lab and formalin disposal lab. The ductwork was placed through a new shaft created from the sixth to the fourth floor. The work was completed during the night shift to minimize disruption to surrounding areas. Rycon self-performed all demolition, casework installation, and ceiling installation.
