Cardinal Health PET Lab/Cyclotron

Scope

The scope of this project for a Fortune 100 Healthcare Service company included a two-phase demolition and build-out of an existing Cardinal Health PET (Positron Emission Tomography) lab. Phase 1 consisted of a 1,800 sq. ft. renovation to provide restrooms and office space. Phase 2 consisted of a new emergency generator and a 5,300 sq. ft. renovation to provide a PET lab/cyclotron machine used to produce radioactive chemical elements to synthesize radiopharmaceuticals. The space holds a QC lab, gown, clean, production, vault, and electronics. Overall, the work included cast-in-place concrete, concrete floor repair, rough carpentry, insulation, joint sealers, steel doors/frames, finish hardware, glazing, drywall, acoustical panel ceilings, polyaspartic floor coating, paint, HVAC, and MEP.
