In Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, Rycon was the construction manager responsible for the completion of a new residence hall at Carnegie Mellon University. The 98,000 sq. ft. facility, which is anticipated to achieve LEED Gold Certification, includes 81 residence suites, community kitchens, technology-enhanced learning commons, and an exterior courtyard. The ground floor is a 5,000 sq. ft. campus hub. Concrete foundations with conventional steel and deck construction makeup the core.
