ODOT Full Service Maintenance Facilities

These new full service maintenance facilities will consist of new truck storage buildings with administrative sections and mechanical service sections with vehicle wash bays. The sites will also hold separate cold storage structures, salt storage structures, material storage structures, above ground 10,000 gallon split fuel storage tanks, and brine/calcium systems. All facilities will be fenced with automatic gates. The main structures will consist of pre-engineered frame with IMP roof and wall panels, and partial brick wainscot. Site development includes controlled fill, grading, drainage structures, asphalt and concrete paving, and fencing. The Geauga building will hold an underhung crane and a jib crane while the Trumbull building will hold a top running crane with a three-ton capacity and a jib crane with a one-ton capacity. Security at the sites will comply with ODOT’s requirements and the EDGE participation goal is 5%.
