Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport at Ross Park

Scope

Dick’s Sporting Goods created a new concept of combining their retail store with a multi-sport experience. Rycon was responsible for the transformation of a 148,000 sq. ft. vacant anchor store into a place for an athletic experience. The store features a 20,000+ sq. ft. outdoor turf field and running track, rock-climbing wall, batting cage with HitTraxTM technology, hockey shop, golf hitting bays with TrackManTM simulators, a putting green, a “House of Cleats” that seasonally rotates products, a health and wellness destination to help customers with recovery and well-being, and a consolidated service area for breaking in gloves, stringing lacrosse sticks, and building/repairing bikes. A 20,000+ sq. ft. outdoor turf field and running track will be added. In the winter months, the field converts to an ice-skating rink. The retail area holds athletic and outdoor apparel brands, footwear, gear for team sports, and equipment for golf and fitness.
