Rycon was chosen by Flagler Global Logistics to act as construction manager on new Class A warehouses, ranging in size from 137,000 to 252,000 sq. ft., located in Countyline Corporate Park, a 500-acre industrial park development. These speculative buildings have a gas management system incorporated in their building pad (under the slab) for collecting and releasing flammable gases outside the building footprint.
The tilt-wall building technique was utilized to accelerate construction on the reclaimed land that was previously a debris dumpsite from Hurricane Andrew. The average construction duration was seven months. Buildings 24 through 26 are LEED Certified. The scope included 32 ft. interior clear ceiling height, ESFR sprinkler system/fire protection, fire pump, and site/utility prep work.
Within Building 25, Rycon also fit-out a 7,000 sq. ft. office space consisting of two full restrooms, a private bathroom, a break room, IT closet, and offices.
