With a unique triangular footprint, this new 129,000 sq. ft. storage facility consists of three floors plus a basement level holding a total of 831 conditioned units ranging in size from 5×5 up to 10×34. The storage structure is made up of reinforced concrete, masonry façade, and post-installed anchors. The Alpha Framing System was utilized. (Alpha light-gauge is a 10’x10’ system mainly comprised of factory-formed and assembled columns and beams that provide superior performance in wind uplift, shear, and gravity loads.) The project also includes a new 14,000 sq. ft. one-story retail building with eight (8) future tenant suites located adjacent to the storage building. The structure is comprised of structural steel, concrete slab, masonry walls, TPO roof, brick veneer, and EIFS.
