Custom casework and millwork featured throughout Rycon's new office
October 29, 2015

Rycon's Casework & Millwork Division’s work is featured throughout Rycon’s new 25,000 sq. ft. Pittsburgh office space, with prominence in the lobby/reception area.

One of the main feature pieces, the reception desk, features stone accents and countertops with maple veneer cabinets. Directly behind the reception desk are angled wall panels consisting of maple veneer with directional grain. Three stain colors and aluminum reveals were selected in order to accentuate the aesthetics of the panel system.

The ceiling detail leading from the reception area to the executive board room was produced on the CNC router. The maple veneer members consisted of threaded rod and decorative exposed fasteners organized in a fashion to create a wave effect.

The main feature wall leading up to the second floor consists of maple veneer curved and flat panels with barn wood laminate reveals stacked and laid out so the curve has an organic flow.
