Accounting – Staff Accountant

Minimum of five years accounting experience required, preferably in the construction industry. College degree is preferred, but not required. The individual will assist in general clerical duties required to accomplish general accounting, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, accounts payable and payroll functions. A working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and a proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required. Familiarity with COINS would be ideal. The position will require the individual to perform reconciliations, prepare forms, reports and correspondence. The individual must have strong organization and time management skills. Accounting – Accounts Receivable

Minimum of three years experience in billing and accounts receivable function, preferably in the construction industry. Associated degree in business, accounting, or related field is preferred, but not required. The individual must have a working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and a proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with internal personnel and external customers. The individual will be responsible for billing customers on a monthly basis, applying incoming checks to the proper customer’s account, prepare daily recap of bank receipts, investigate and resolve payment discrepancies on customer accounts, monitor customer account balances and payment practices and prepare written reports and analysis as requested. The individual has to have the ability to work independently as well as a team player. Accounting – Accounts Payable

Minimum of three years experience in accounts payable function, preferably in the construction industry. Associated degree in business, accounting, or related field is preferred, but not required. The individual must have a working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and a proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with internal personnel and external vendors and subcontractors. The individual will be responsible for verifying and entering contracts, purchase orders, insurance certificate information, subcontractor’s invoice and vendor’s invoice into computerized system. The individual will also schedule and process payments on a weekly basis to vendors and subcontractors, submit credit applications, organize and match receipts to corresponding invoices, process joint check agreements, investigate and resolve questions from subcontractors and vendors regarding payment status and prepare written reports and analysis as requested. The individual has to have the ability to work independently as well as a team player. Accounting – Payroll Clerk

Minimum of three years experience in a payroll function, or equivalent. Associated degree in business, accounting, or related field is preferred, but not required. The individual will maintain payroll database and process payroll in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. The individual will ensure all federal, state and local tax withholdings are correct, compiled and reported. In addition, they will ensure the accuracy of W-2 and W-3 forms and will prepare specialized payroll and human resource reports as requested. Other duties include preparing and processing garnishments to the appropriate agencies, processing checks, answer employee questions concerning payroll issues and completing employment verification forms. Strong computer skills with an emphasis on payroll and spreadsheet software are required. The individual must be flexible to work in a demanding environment. Administrative Assistant

Provide support for three to five Project Managers; ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced high volume environment; strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and written skills, thorough knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Suite, minimum of three years recent office experience, a cordial disposition with a team attitude. Estimating Assistant

High energy level required in assisting lead estimator on bid or negotiated projects. Job duties include the solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers by telemarketing via telephone, fax & e-mail. Estimator – Building Group

Minimum five years experience required in estimating the construction & renovation of larger commercial and institutional buildings. Quantity take-offs & experience in reading drawings & specifications is a must. Computer skills required in Excel, MC², & Microsoft project. College degree is preferred but not required. Estimator – Special Projects Group

Minimum three+ years of experience in estimating of renovation type projects. Projects consist of retail, office, university, and hospital type work ranging from $100,000 to $2,000,000. Quantity take-offs and experience reading drawings and specifications is a must. Computer skills required in Excel, MC², and Microsoft Project. College degree is preferred, but not required. Project Engineer – Building Group

Minimum two years experience in the construction management or contracting profession. A college degree is preferred, but not required. Candidate needs the following qualities and skills: reading documents, familiar with subcontracts, reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work, develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or Suretrak, attend meetings and prepare minutes, review/prepare change order requests, develop/track submittals, develop/track request for information, track/monitor/ prepare cost reports, maintain owner relations, marketing skills, presentation skills, computer skills which include Excel and Word, good organization skills and have excellent communication skills. Project Manager – Building Group

Project Manager – Special Projects Group

A minimum of three+ years experience is required in construction of small to medium sized commercial construction projects with an emphasis on renovation projects. Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status. Candidate should be organized, highly motivated, and detail-directed problem solver. The ability to communicate effectively with staff, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners is mandatory. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, create material take-offs, and obtain pricing from numerous vendors is a plus. Computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project. Superintendent – Building Group

Minimum of five years construction supervisory experience with bringing multi-million dollar projects out of the ground. The applicant must have advanced knowledge of associated trades including steel erection, concrete, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, finish trades, site layout including instrumentation, etc. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications. The applicant must also have a good grasp on safety regulations as well as scheduling of work, materials, manpower, subcontractors, and equipment. A degree in Construction Management or the equivalent combination of experience and training are required. Basic computer skills are required (Email, Microsoft Word, etc).
